Olfactory-mediated host choice in Drosophila

We are studying host choice in Drosophila with the aim of characterizing individual odour components governing specific steps in the selection of hosts. We also characterize the olfactory receptor neurons and downstream pathways detecting and integrating the chemical signals underlying fly behaviour.
